Get Acquainted Continental Breakfast

Pick an Option:

Option 1: Educational Track: This option includes the Opening Reception, all SWR Institute educational sessions, continental breakfasts, luncheons and the “Pass the Gavel Gala” Reception, Dinner and Dance.

Take part in the educational program as an attendee.  This option gives you the opportunities to attend all social and educational events.

Option 2: Eco-Kayaking Tour: This option includes the Opening Reception, Eco-Kayaking Tour, Get Acquainted Continental Breakfast, lunch and the “Pass the Gavel Gala” Reception, Dinner and Dance.

9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Eco-Kayaking Tour
Enjoy a guided tour of the island’s marine sanctuary.  Led by knowledgeable and experienced naturalists, the tour combines kayaking and snorkeling with an introduction to the natural history and ecology of the Mangrove Lagoon.  The kayaks are for two persons and all you need is a bathing suit, reef walkers or shoes that can get wet, hat and sunblock.

Option 3: Shop Talk & St. John Excursion: This option includes the Opening Reception, Shop Talk & St. John Excursion, Get Acquainted Continental Breakfast, lunch and the “Pass the Gavel Gala” Reception, Dinner and Dance.

  Tues., March 3, 2009

1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Catamaran Sail and Snorkeling
$90 per person
Our sail departs the hotel dock in route to one of the lovely nearby beaches or nearby cays.  There will be plenty of time for swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach; instruction and gear will be provided for full enjoyment of the excellent snorkeling.  There will be an open bar and light refreshments.
(Optional activity. Additional fee applies)

6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
“Pass the Gavel Gala” Reception

7:30 - 11 p.m.
“Pass the Gavel Gala” Dinner and Dance

Enjoy this festive evening toasting the current and incoming president of SWR Institute. Dance the night away celebrating the installation of a new SWR Institute President.
