Overview:
SWRInstitute is offering the Liquid Sealant Installation Training Course in New Orleans, LA. The training course will include all of the components for a SWRInstitute Validated Training Program. This course is designed for the installer, and can serve as a template for specifiers, contractors, and manufacturers to develop their own training programs.
The course will be presented by a panel of SWRInstitute members including Pat Gorman, Gorman Moisture Protection, Inc., Ron Pilla, Valcourt Exterior Building Services, LLC, Dan Cain, The George D. Alan Company and Rick Johnson, BASF Building Systems.
This course will cover an overview of sealant installation, safety, material science, a video presentation of installation practices, quality control/quality assurance practices, a review of sealant specifications and construction details and 2 hours of hands on demonstration. The course will utilize the SWRInstitute “Applying Liquid Sealants” Applicator Training Program. Each participant will receive one manual and one DVD of the SWRInstitute “Applying Liquid Sealants” Applicator Training Program.
This program is essential for understanding installation practices that lead to the performance of building sealants.
