About this project:
The recent work performed by Merritt Engineering Consultants, P.C. at The Rockefeller Apartments included façade restorations at all elevations, Local Law 11/98 repairs, and the removal and replacement of all main roofs, bulkhead roofs, and terrace waterproofing systems. The façade and local law repairs included masonry repointing of the brick joints throughout the façades and bulkheads, cracked and deteriorated brick replacement, lintel replacement with new flashing, window sill replacement and coping stone repairs. Merritt Engineering was retained by Gumley-Haft Inc. to conduct the full scope of work, while preserving the elegant and historical character of the NYC landmark property.
