SWR Foundation

The strength of our industry is dependent upon providing new ideas . . . education and training . . . enthusiasm for the craft.

The SWR Foundation was established in 1999 by the board of directors of the Sealant, Waterproofing and Restoration Institute. Recognizing a need to prepare for a new era in the construction trades, the SWR Foundation made a commitment to concentrate on the future of our industry. The SWR Foundation is dedicated to enhancing our future through education and research.

Foundation Objectives
  • Provide scholarships to individuals who want to get into the industry -- either through technical schools or apprentice programs -- and college students interested in sealant and restoration design, engineering or architecture.
  • Focus on special research projects, unique educational initiatives, special publications and training materials.
  • Award scholarships and grants based upon well-defined criteria and administered by a committee of the Foundation.
  • Seek applicants first from SWR Institute members and then the industry at-large.
How You Can Help

Ensuring the future of our industry is dependent upon having an educated and motivated workforce. By donating to the SWR Foundation, you will become an integral part of the solution. Your donation will help fund scholarships and grants that may have a direct impact on your business. The student helped today by the Foundation may be your employee tomorrow!

The Foundation seeks all levels of contributions. Whether $50 or $5,000, it will help the Foundation achieve its goal of helping students get involved in our industry. And, since the SWR Foundation is a 501(c) (3) charitable organization, your donation is tax deductible.
