Erdly Recognized as Distinguished Alumnus by Pennsylvania College of Technology

Pennsylvania College of Technology at Penn State selected Jeff Erdly, president and co-founder of Masonry Preservation Services, Inc., a specialty building-façade repair contractor in Berwick, PA as the College’s Distinguished Alumnus for 2004. The Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Award is given in recognition of personal and professional accomplishments, contributions toward furthering the efforts of the College, and the high regard in which the recipient is held in the community.

Erdly is active in the American Society for Testing and Materials and was instrumental in the 1997 formation of a committee to develop a standard for inspecting building facades. As co-chair of the committee, he helped implement the “Standard Practice for Periodic Inspection of Building Facades for Unsafe Conditions.”
